“This German bred bitch became Bundessiegerin in 1967. Soon after winning her title she was sold to Japan, where she proved of great influence on the breed. Also for the breed in Europe. It was through her daughter Olive of Bamby's Pride (imported by Mr S. David ‘vom Franckenhorst kennel’ from Japan to Holland) that she proved a brood bitch of great importance. In 1966 the German judge H. Dietmann wrote about her: “a very beautifully built bitch, with a good front and deep chest. The head is long and with parallel lines, a good underjaw, eyes and tan are dark. Her coat is also a nice dark brown. She has a nice topline and the hind-angulation is good. Powerful movement, full dentition. She shows a good temperament and passed Schutzhund I”.” [by J.M. v.d. Zwan: In the beginning.....A history of the Dobermann] |
