Gerra von Ellendonk

Gerra von Ellendonk was the winner of the D.V. Meisterschaft in 1966 with 266 points. Her sire, Astor von der Schimmel Schulz Heide, was a particapant in the D.V. Meisterschaft while her dam, Dixi von Krakau, was the winner of the D.V. Meisterschaft in 1964.

Gerra's litter-brother, Gero von Ellendonk SchH 3, also competed in the D.V. Meisterschaft. Both Gerra and Gero strengthened (or consolidated) the working reputation of this bloodline and were consistently rated excellent in working trials. Gero sired the von Ellendonk “S, U, X” litters (Satan, Sanko, Ulfas, Xandra, Xyla). Both Satan and Sanko von Ellendonk passed the Körung with highest ratings for hardness and working drives. A repeat combination of the “S” litter produced Ulfas von Ellendonk, SchH 1, Angekört, DV-Jugendsiegerin. Gero in combination with Palma von Ellendonk produced World Youth Siegerin Xyla von Ellendonk who in turn also passed the Körung.

Gerra was a brood female for the von Ellendonk Kennel in Germany and she was known to produce very good working as well as looking offspring. Below are her most influential litters and offspring:

  • Jago: sire of the von der Elgenbergwiese “C, E” litters (Cliff, Esther).
  • Jessy: SchH 1 and dam of the von Ellendonk “M, V, O” litters (Vesta: DV-Siegerin in 1972).
  • Jenny: SchH 3 and often V1 rated in conformation. Foundation female and dam of the von der Räuberhöhle “B, C” litters (Boris, Butler, Bessy, Cora).
  • Kora: SchH 1 and Bundessiegerin in 1970.
• von Ellendonk “T” litter with Boy vom Stolzenfest:
  • Trux: SchH 3 and competed in the D.V. Meisterschaft several times. Also, the owner of the von Burg Homeim-Stein Kennel, H. Schauer Pegnitz, often successfully titled Trux at D.V. Sieger trials.
  • Tasso: SchH 3 and passed the Körung.
  • Tanja: SchH 3 and dam of the von der Mühlenbirke “A, B, C, D” litters (Boy: SchH 3, Angekört, DV-Sieger in 1976).
